On June 24, 2020, EdTech Breakthrough Award 2020 announced that goFLUENT has won the Overall Language Learning Company of the Year for 2020. See the full list of winners here.

This award is given to the language learning company that exhibits and proves that it is able to break through the crowded educational technology (EdTech) market today. This year’s program attracted more than 1,750 nominations from over 15 different countries throughout the world.

The award nominations are analyzed, evaluated, and scored by EdTech Breakthrough’s expert panel of judges from technical, business, academic, and marketing expertise within the industry. The evaluation criteria for the awards program are focused on innovation.

Aside from innovation, nominees are judged based on the organization and solution’s performance, ease of use, functionality, value, and impact. The organizations and solutions that have won in the 2020 EdTech Breakthrough Award are those that “address a true need, solve a complex or critical problem, or seize an opportunity and create or revolutionize a new market or industry.”
